The cruise took off with a catamaran run by a local yachting company, along Santorini's caldera, from Akrotiri past the volcano to Red Beach, continuing on to Vlychada as the sun went down. Two days after their wedding at Ktima 48, this was the relaxed half of the trip, a full day on the water to compensate for the tight schedule of a ceremony.

With the caldera as the backdrop for most of the day, we photographed the group and the couple on board, working creative background shots into every location we passed: the cliffs, the rocky surface of Nea Kammeni, and the red rocks of Red Beach. We used the drone for wide scenery, group photos, and views of the boat against the volcanic coastline. The rest of the day stayed loose, following the group between Akrotiri, Red Beach and Vlychada rather than directing specific moments.
