“Love is a place
& through this place of
love move
all places.Yes is a world
& in this world of yes, live
(skillfully curled)
all worlds”― E.E. Cummings
The Wedding of the year in Mykonos
Once on the far side of yesterday… In a place neither near, not far, and a time neither now nor then, welcome to our world of storytelling, where “magic” exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live.
But this story is not about celebrities or public figures. It is mostly about this one particular element that makes you watch the stars and see yourself running with them. But youre not really running, you are only flying. And we have seen this happen over and over, right there in through our eyes, and into our hearts. And it is all that really matters.
Nothing could stop this wedding from happening and nothing could change the amazing energy that surrounded us. Even the foul weather of the previous days gave way to this amazing event.
But yesterday something so great happened that we simply have to share it with you What happened… was…
It’s official – Feel the flow now… you are married to a star.

Wedding Film Spetses // This story is about love. It’s about friendship, it’s about sharing, it’s about keeping (the inevitable) secrets. This is a story about life. A life which grows higher than the mind will hope for, or mind can hide, and this is the wonder that makes the world go round.
Bottom Line: Everyone loves a conspiracy.
The essence of the conspiracy, but mainly the conspirators themselves, who possess the heart to intrigue the real and the imagined. And against all odds face the fatal consequences. We are not to be held responsible (Pepe) :-) for this result but only as consistent professional story spinners, stood present, to efficiently document and unfold the nature of the conspiracy, to its core.
So yes, this is common knowledge … this story is the real ? the imagined ?
Or perhaps in the heart of the believers?
#3 History in the making
The Scenery // Spetses
An amazing island. A destination that will stay in your heart and make you smile every time you think of it. An island that will seduce you and make your life easier as your wedding destination.
Blessed by its beauty. Too pretty, too accessible and too popular. An elegant choice for #pepefaiou and a perfect match.
One could tell that It was going to be Spetses.
This is an island where your senses immediately come alive: the air, refreshingly warm, carries the smell of the sea one moment, then freshly baked pastries the next. Locals drink their espressos and frappés as they play backgammon in the shade and eye the latest arrivals climbing out of the red-and-white water taxis.
Around the corner from the port, the winding, cobbled coastal road opens into a wide, expansive piazza that acts as a forecourt for the Poseidonion, a grand, august hotel styled like a château and modelled on the Carlton in Cannes and the Negresco in Nice.
There is something timeless about the square, and indeed the island itself. It is as close to the idyllic Hellenic picture as you can imagine: fishermen lay out their catch by the seafront as the locals stroll along the promenade, past impressive villas, domed churches and traditional tavernas with tables lining the road. Cars being banned from the town, horse-drawn carriages rattle through the backstreets
The Venetians named the island Spezia, meaning spice , but it could just as well have been after the powerful scents of jasmine and pine , bougainvillea and hibiscus. But then we could go on forever, about this and about #pepefaiou and anything about this wedding.
The wedding in Spetses
The amazing venue of Poseidonion Grand Hotel was going to host the preparation of Faye. Hospitality, and belle epoque style luxury, only fitting to our special bride to be. The groom and his friends at a private villa – enjoying the swimming pool until the very last minute. A beautiful coach carried our bride to Agios Nikolaos a church overlooking the old harbour.
The reception was to take place at the well known “Kaiki”. The beautiful decoration of Fevronia and organized by Mae Mavroudi of Greek Weddings made the world of a difference.
This was a wedding to remember. And these are two people we will always keep deep in our hearts.
And who would know?
If a man asks a girl for a date…
That’s his business.
If the girl accepts…
That’s her business.
If the man and the girl decide to marry…
That’s their business.
However, if they want great wedding photographs…
THAT’S OUR BUSINESS!!!

Hash tag #pepefaiou and who could know ..
When she grows up she wants to be a ballerina spinning.
Impatient…
Who could know but Elon Musk.
In Rotterdam.
Where things went out of hand.
But who could know?
And as there are no ways of knowing for sure,
there are these special ways of knowing
for pretty sure.
Over a game of playstation.
Over a well cooked meal.
In just a split of a second
or a split of it,
between everyday lines
That it is, in the knowing that we grow
and love will expand to contain us.
But who would know?
Over a glass of wine,
over this one,
particularly this one twitch of the lip.
Because theres always someone who knows something.
About fairy tales.
Abstract and unique,
reflective by nature.
Fairy tales, that project on us as we project on them.
Like words that we make up
to giggle,
to share,
to intimacy,
to special meanings,
to odd translations.
To friendship.
But who would know,
but old best friends
and new ones.
To care and share.
To shed a tear for the lost of childhood,
and the untangleable bonds,
that will remain forever and ever.
But who could know that some things are meant to be, as we met again and again, on friends weddings and we were chosen instinctively. As we chose them. It was inevitable for here was a story that had to be told.

Two Cats
One up a tree
One under the tree
The cat up a tree is he
The cat under the tree is she
The tree is witch elm, just incidentally.
He takes no notice of she, she takes no notice of he.
He stares at the woolly clouds passing, she stares at the tree.
There’s been a lot written about cats, by Old Possum, Yeats and Company.
But not Alfred de Musset or Lord Tennyson or Poe or anybody
Wrote about one cat under, and one cat up, a tree.
God knows why this should be left for me
Except I like cats as cats be
Especially one cat up
And one cat under
A witch elm
Tree.
Mid-August. High season for a wedding photographer! Approaching the port of Symi, we had the overwhelming feeling of entering a perfectly painted image of a traditional scenic village. We have to admit we remained agape throughout our stay, unable to resist the superb spectacle of the town stretching its impeccable architecture, where all of the buildings were listed on the slopes of the surrounding hills. The port of Symi looked like it might have been photoshopped, the colours that surrounded us a breathtaking sight. Last but not least. No words could describe the beauty of the sea that surrounds the island where the horizon unfolds until the shores of Turkey.
And yes, there was something definitely going on there. This was the Cats’ Wedding!
What a funkier way to start a wedding than a daily boat cruise around the island. It was an amazing group. There were drinks, good food music and a whole lot of shaking going on. everyone had a ball! Capturing the spirit of the day, we photographed performing acrobatics, onboard, underwater and in the air!
On the day itself, our Cats from Amsterdam, started the day in separate houses, as is traditional. The groom and his men prepared themselves in Pedi, and our bride and her party prepared up in the Horio, the higher village. At a set point in the afternoon, Yianna left the house in a beautiful flowing white gown created by Maria Konidi.
She boarded a specially decorated boat, a caique, a traditional sponge diving boat, to meet Yannis at the church in Pedi led by musicians. The groom was also accompanied by musicians, a slow walk to the church. Of course, there was a lot of “penemata” fοr both… A traditional ritual loyally kept by Yiayia Varvara, the favoured Persona Grata of the event.
A beautiful ceremony took place, where they exchanged their own personal vows before their families and loved ones.
The reception (more a party to remember) was held at Pedi beach hotel overlooking the harbour with its twinkling lights, and the boats coming in and out. Cannot reveal more as we promise to surprise you with images when the time comes<
Sounds perfect to you? It was for them, and also for us, beautiful images, precious moments, inevitable memories made from the Cats’ wedding, in Simi.
And as we are no ordinary wedding photographers. These are no ordinary cats!
So happy to be part of this wedding, to have felt, to have shared to have captured. We thank you for the fun and the trust. We thank you for sharing genuine smiles, but even more we thank you for the sincere friendship. Our wishes will always be with you.

Wedding Photography – Vassilis & Elena
So yes. We indeed gave our girl to her most loving blue eyes. The eyes that (come on now, admit it, Vassilis). Made her faint!
Their wedding took place on the most beautiful day of winter. It was a day when the sun that woke us up in the morning simply intimidated the strong storm of the previous day! But then again Elena’s smile took care of that! It was a day full of love and emotions. Not to mention the Tag of War that took place after the wedding .. men vs women ( as the bride did not step on the groom’s leg as tradition requires). We shall not reveal (not yet) who won the “war”. We sincerely wish for them to be blessed with all this energy, brightness and happiness for the rest of their life together, along with the love and good wishes of their families and friends!
