Fashion photography has been able to set benchmarks in the segment of Beauty, clothes, models, accessories, etc. using inspiration, technology and skills, such as choosing exotic locations, storylines, background, tricks and techniques to infuse life in a static photo shoot.

There are various styles to the fashion photography genre, such as editorial photography, wedding dress photography, catalogue, high fashion, and street fashion photography. Street fashion photography is the latest addition in this category and is gaining prominence owing to its simplicity and connectivity with commoners. Being established in the market means we have resolved every technical issue, having decided on the type of light we prefer, having found our preferred photo shooting style and delivering consistent quality photos to our clients. We have enough jobs to keep us going and satisfied. We may relax a bit as the market will adapt to us (not much, but it’s ok).

That’s precisely what we DO NOT allow ourselves to do with our craft. We stay restless and treat each project as our first one. We like to reinvent our selves every day. To discover and experience.

About Alexandroupoli

Discovering the crossroads of Europe

Alexandroupoli Wedding Photography

Alexandroupoli, named after Alexander the Great, is the commercial and cultural hub of the whole prefecture, and the crossroad between Europe and Asia,. The landmark of Alexandroupoli is the impressive Lighthouse of Alexandroupoli built by the French during the 19th century. Being one of the few supervised lighthouses in Greece assists the passage to Ellispontos bay. Neoclassic buildings surrounded by pedestrian streets and beautiful squares such as St. Nicolas Cathedral Square and Zarifios Educational Academy, along with several museums, reflect the culture of the city.
This beautiful city also retains a part of its old fisher village to evoke memories of its past as the legendary Orient – Express connecting Thessaloniki with Istanbul.

The town of Soufli is a must-visit destination, as the mountainous landscape of the area awes every visitor while being a historic area of critical importance during the Greek revolution against the Turks and a major production centre of silk. The island of Samothraki, the homeland of the famous statue of Nike that is exhibited in Louvre, is an island of unique natural beauties with its famous waterfalls, lovely beaches, archaeological sites and museums.

We get to experience an incredible opportunity to see new places, meet new people, discover new cultures. Oh – did we mention making incredible new photographs?

We have often been to Thessaloniki, but it was our first in Alexandroupoli. The amazing scenery was very much more that we had expected. There are unbelievably beautiful natural wonders across this part of the world — from the tops of mountains to the deepest blue sea. Our photographs captured the vibrant colours and the passiveness and purity of this land. Until the rocky shorelines interspersed with blue waters, green moss, and endless yellow sand.

The port of Alexandroupoli gave us beautiful images in the evening. Overwhelming was the colour that turns a fiery red at sunset. And there were thousands of birds celebrating the wonders of life around us. During our stay, the weather changed. The scenery was even more overwhelming through the dramatic clouds, doing justice to the natural wonders that came in all shapes and colours.

This was the backdrop chosen by our amazing couple. Niki and Cristodoulos had their open wedding in their homeland, Alexandroupoli. Over one thousand guests were invited to this impeccably organized glamorous wedding, of two people celebrating love, and life.

We were blessed to have been, to have seen and to have captured.

When wedding photography

has an identity

Our wedding celebrations lasted four consequent days, each one an exceptional occasion, giving us the inspiration to capture unforgettable moments.

There was the very inspiring tour around the Island that ended in a knockout beach party at the Amada Colossus until the early morning hours.

A welcome party took place on the elegant roof garden of Rodos Park Suites and Spa overlooking the Castle. There was live band music and the excellent choice of finger food from the talented chefs of Park Hotel.

The ceremony was held at Filerimos. Undoubtedly, the location of the Castle and its enhanced fortresses makes it one of the most dominating and beautiful churches we have ever visited.

In a quiet and shady pine forest on the hilltop of Filerimos, which is located on one of the first ancient towns of the Island, Ialyssos, stands this astonishing Byzantine castle.

Built during the Byzantine Era, the Castle lies within a cluster of buildings of significant historical importance, amongst Byzantine, Hellenistic and Medieval structures and monuments.

In Rhodes, the crossroad of the Mediterranean, between the Aegean Sea and the coast of the Middle East, the meeting point of three continents. And it was meant to be. Katerina and Jean Baptiste. You’ve truly found love, then given it a wing to fly, and it has chosen to stay, because it was meant to be!

ABOUT THE WEDDING

This wedding could be no less than unusual.

There is always something about an outdoor wedding that we love. It may be the blue sky or the au naturel décor. It can be the romantic breeze or the mystical blue moon, that embraces us with this sophistication and solidarity. An endless inspiration.

Both preps took place in their family homes, in the centre of Athens. We focused on the rare retro urban style of Athens in the 60s. We made a promise to maintain this beautifully nostalgic essence in our images. As our pictures speak a thousand words, we usually avoid very emotional texts, as they tend to become personal.

We have always worked with amazing couples who never cease to amaze us with their sense of adventure and love for each other. We continue to be motivated and inspired by the people we meet along the way, continually looking out for the unique and the beauty within. Our constant personal development has given us a unique perspective on what it really takes to create truly memorable photographs and a unique experience into the amazing wedding day. Photography for us is the bond between the past, the present and the future. To succeed in having captured the intensity of the essence of life, in every hundredth of a second.

The ceremony and reception took place at the Alsos Nymphon, a beautiful estate right outside Athens. Alsos Nimfon – meaning Nymphs’ Grove – stands on a natural scenic terrace with a spectacular view, overlooking the lake of Marathonas. The location is brimming with serenity, class and sophistication.

The very emotional ceremony followed by the kickass entry of the couple to the dance floor. It was party time! And party time it was!

The genre of city and urban photography is so broad that it is hard to narrow it down to one style. It is about architecture and cityscapes, the people, the weird, quirky moments, the quiet or moody scenes.
Having a natural exploring mindset, we seek to find our images through the jungle of cityscape.
Searching for new perspectives, bridges, exciting scenery and architecture, anything that differs from the obvious. This is our project for this wedding photography.

As an architect, Kostas opts for this urban style. Geometrical figures, squares and circles, symmetry and repetition. Forms. We are always focusing on everything that goes on in our candid scene. This is after all about two people in love. Capturing the right moment on a chaotic street can be quite a task on its own, but the emotional interaction, even through forms patterns or street art, is always our high priority.

If our images have made a connection to you, we have succeeded.

On another note, we chose the Allou Fun Park to have our pre-wedding photoshoot, as a symbolism of loyalty and trust. Yiannis loves roller coasters, while they make Anthi feel very uncomfortable. In contradiction and trust, they find their together.

And this time we were off to Alsos Nymfon. A lovely venue at the outskirts of Athens, that hosted this once in a blue moon wedding. Sometimes words cannot describe what really happens. This is one of these cases. Our day started with Kostas’ grooming in his favorite barber shop downtown. We then moved to the lovely warm vintage feeling of bride’s and groom family houses for their preparations and finally a wedding party that ended up in the early morning hours under the sounds of Doors.

Yes no yes no yes no? Red blue? Yes red, no blue? No red, yes no? In out, up down? Do don’t, can can’t?

Choices… so many…

So happy to be part of this wedding, to have felt, to have shared to have captured. We thank you for the generosity and the trust. We thank you for the genuine smiles and concern but even more we thank you for the sincere friendship. Our wishes will always be with you.
