Its more like Amsterdam rings a bell for everyone (and us), like there will always be something going on.

Visiting Amsterdam for an organized presentation for the Cats’s Symi Wedding back in January, gave us the opportunity to meet Eliza and Andreas. You know what its like, when one thing leads to the other and here we are one year later… In Sifnos.
The island that most prefers our destination wedding photography, as there has never been a year without at least three visits for respective events. A beautiful destination indeed and a favorite for our couples!

A surprise pre wedding beach party was thrown on Friday at the Lost Bay, where everything became possible.

Friends and families from all over the world, toasting to drinks and dancing wishes to the couple, to love and happiness for ever and ever! It was impossible to call it a day… well, until Saturday… Saturday – and what a beautiful day for vows of love…

We were there to photograph the magic of this sifnos wedding, forever. Precious pictures as keepsakes of capturing and reliving memories, to immortalize every blink of the eye, and forever freeze it in time.
These extraordinary moments that make memories so precious and unique. But we have told you much. Allow us to keep a secret or two. After all this is only a sneak peek of a story that will unfold in the narrow pathways of Kastro, in the sandy beach of Platis Yialos and in the dominating Cycladic white of Chrissopigi. The Scenery

This has been the perfect scenery for the perfect wedding. Sifnos, the choice of Ari and Alê, the island that combined the exclusivity of the selected few, for a traditional Greek touch to their special day. The romantic and raw ambience of the island and its hospitable aura create the ideal backdrop for this beautiful wedding.

Pre wedding stories

They had an amazing party the night before at the Folie in Kamares, the absolute every day must. The capricious weather of the day, chose to give us the most amazing sunset. Later in the evening and as the party was building up, spectacular thunders were crisscrossing the horizon, as if to collaborate to the celebration of the day to come. And there was drinking and dancing. Brazil and Greece, different, yet so similar in their impulsive expression of joy.

Their preps took place at the Light House Residences, with friends and families. We have a soft spot for preparations. highly emotional, elaborately mixed, with tears of joy, loved ones always collaborating to the build up of impatience as the clock ticks closer to the countdown.

Ari, the most beautiful eyes we have ever seen. Blue, but more. Where almost nothing need be said. Alê, the most amazing smile, so genuinely sweet, with just the right portion of shyness and warmth. As Ari kept saying, “everything about her is beautiful”.

Their choice for the religious wedding ceremony was bold and unique, as most couples choose Chrissopigi for their wedding. A small country church, the monastery of Timios Stavros, overlooking the sea. A breathtaking view and a magic sunset, their most becoming enviroment. Where love knew, it was called love. For this day and forever.

The party in Fassolou, went on until early morning hours, the Greek – Brazilian way, a fascinating combination on the dance floor. We were there to share this day with them and hand them back their trust. A gift to safe keep and share. Images that speak to their hearts.

For Ari and Alê, and for everything we shared during your happy days in Sifnos, the island that became the ideal backdrop for your beautiful wedding. Thank you for trusting us both as professionals but also as friends. For the most graceful, heartfelt and honest smiles.

This is your captain speaking. Good afternoon Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard Flight V&T with service from Cyprus to Sifnos. We are currently in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air for approximately… a lifetime. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and join us in this journey called life. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for it is party time. Please keep all personal electronic devices on, including cell phones and cameras and enjoy the ride. Partying is of course not prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for honouring us with your presence. Enjoy our flight.

And so the story begins… for Vassiliki & Terry… Who tasted flight (may we be permitted to rephrase Leonardo da Vinci) and will forever walk the earth with their eyes turned skyward, for there they have been and there they will always long to return.

They took their vows at the beautiful church of Chryssopigi in Sifnos with their beloved family and friends. The party yet another flight lasted all night at Cafe Folie!

We were honoured with their trust (it took us only one phone call) to share and capture this beautiful wedding. Knowing them has been a privilege. Our wishes along the wedding photos we captured will always be with them.

In Sifnos, this very day, when everything was conspiring to make it a very happy one, by arChive Photography under another spell of inspiration.

We have “stolen” beauty from this small trip for plenty of our imagery. For us, it is always a challenge to get into the heart of the sentiments caused during this final countdown. That was the title that dominated our summer: Sifnos wedding photographer. With three weddings in this beautiful island, we had to overcome every obstacle and create inspirational photographs out of literally everything, to present our couples with unique, personalised imagery.

Putting the flow of the day into pictures is just not good enough for us. We have to surprise our couples. Each and every time.

So for Fanis and Ioanna, this was an “after” the after session photoshoot. More relaxed, more fun with surroundings and mood contributing to an amazing result that narrated the end of a very long journey for them, starting in Kythira a year earlier.

Thank you Fanis & Ioanna for sharing so many happy moments with us and may they last forever. We wish you happiness and fulfilment which we are sure you will find in your path.

This was a perfect start for a series of Sifnos Weddings for this summer. Never the same as any previous one, the island and our couples tempted us once more. To be different, personal and to come up with imagery that highlights their dreams, their very personal moments and the story of their lives.

It was in Sifnos that Fanis and Ioanna chose to reload. No place could be a more perfect match than this beautiful destination, with its whitewashed houses standing like pearls along the crest of the island. Unspoiled footpaths link villages under the warm changing light, so characteristic in the Cyclades, kissing the landscape and exploring the slopes of the mountains, to meet with olive trees, bays with aqua waters, offering that breathtaking experience that will mesmerise you.

Fanis and Ioanna, their beautiful families and their very special friends, took every extra step to make their wedding day extravagantly beautiful. We have laughed and we have cried. We have enjoyed and we have lived. Their dream became ours to share and preserve. Every moment was irresistibly inspiring. Being their photographers on their three-day wedding was nothing like common. We wish for them the best from our hearts and we thank them for their trust and friendship.

Ένα τέλειο ξεκίνημα για μια σειρά γάμων που φωτογραφίσαμε στη Σίφνο για αυτό το καλοκαίρι. Πάντα με διαφορετικό, πρωτότυπο υλικό, αφήνουμε τη διάθεση και τον χαρακτήρα των ζευγαριών μας να μας καθοδηγήσουν και να μας προκαλέσουν για να αποτυπώσουμε την ιστορία τους με μοναδικές εικόνες. Και η πραγματική πρόκληση είναι να είσαι διαφορετικός κάθε φορά, να υιοθετείς το ξεχωριστό στυλ του ζευγαριού, και να δημιουργείς εικόνες που τονίζουν ότι έχουν ονειρευτεί για το γάμο τους, τις προσωπικές τους στιγμές και την ιστορία που έχουν γράψει μαζί.

Ο Φάνης και η Ιωάννα διάλεξαν να “επανεκκινήσουν” το γάμο τους στη Σίφνο. Και κανένα μέρος δεν θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο τέλειο από αυτό τον υπέροχο προορισμό των Κυκλάδων, με τα ολόλευκα σπίτια που διάσπαρτα, στολίζουν το κυκλαδίτικο τοπίο σαν μαργαριτάρια. Προστατευμένα από την κοινή θέα μονοπάτια, ενώνουν τα μικρά χωριά κάτω από το ζεστό καλοκαιρινό φως, αγκαλιάζουν το τοπίο και εξερευνούν τις πλαγιές λόφων και βουνών για να συναντήσουν ελαιόδεντρα, απομονωμένες παραλίες με κρυστάλλινα μπλε νερά, που προσφέρουν αυτή τη μοναδική εμπειρία που θα θυμάσαι για πάντα. Οι Κυκλάδες χαράζονται στην καρδιά και το μυαλό σου.

Ο Φάνης, η Ιωάννα, οι όμορφες οικογένειες τους και οι φίλοι τους, έκαναν παραπάνω από αυτά που χρειαζόντουσαν για να κάνουν την ημέρα του γάμου τους αξέχαστη. Ζήσαμε και απολαύσαμε κάθε στιγμή. Το όνειρο τους έγινε δικό μας, για να το διαφυλάξουμε από το χρόνο και να το μοιραστούμε. Κάθε στιγμή ήταν γεμάτη έμπνευση που σε προκαλούσε να μην αντισταθείς. Το να είμαστε οι φωτογράφοι γάμου στο τριήμερο που περάσαμε μαζί τους, ήταν μια αξέχαστη εμπειρία.

Τους ευχόμαστε κάθε ευτυχία από καρδιάς και τους ευχαριστούμε για την εμπιστοσύνη και τη φιλία τους.
