The CRUISE
The cruise left from Gialos with Captain Yiannis at the helm, the same captain who has worked with the studio's Symi weddings for years and become a friend along the way. His boat, Poseidon Symi Excursions, is the one couples trust for this part of their wedding.
The first stop was Maroni beach, known locally for its seal cave, followed by Ladiko. The boat then continued to Seskli for the middle of the day, where Captain Yiannis lights an open barbecue on the beach and cooks while the group swims, eats and drinks, enjoying their time together.
For this wedding two boats ran together, Poseidon and Diagoras, and the couple moved between them through the day to spend time with every guest rather than staying fixed on one. A traditional group photo was taken at Seskli, the whole wedding party together on the beach.
In the afternoon the boats headed east to Agios Georgios for a final swim, a quieter stop than the others and one of the most striking stretches of coastline on this side of Symi. From there it was back to Gialos, arriving as the light turned and the boats entered the port at sunset.
