A wedding in Symi is always rewarding for us. We made a habit of getting lost in secluded beaches and hidden alleys just to capture a texture, a color or a shadow. Half of this wedding's locations were reached by boat. Light, schedule, gear, all of it had to adapt to the specific demands. We covered the cruise the day before, both preparations, the chapel arrival and the reception, each with its own pace. Analipsi is the kind of ceremony location that puts a specific accent to your photos. The chapel sits alone on its bay, and the only thing we had to do is stay discrete and let the event speak. Agia Marina opened up later in the afternoon, the taxi boats running between bay and beach, and the party found its rhythm very soon. Photography and film ran together across the days, the way we work every event that we cover.
