Porto Heli sits on the Argolic Gulf in the Peloponnese, its bay lined with private villas rather than a resort strip. Hinitsa Bay, just outside the town, holds a handful of these waterfront properties, Villa Halioussa among them, with its terrace overlooking Hinitsa islet.

Foivos was christened in a small, discreet ceremony held within the villa, surrounded by family and close friends. Afterward, the celebration moved to the pool for dinner and a party through the evening.

Coverage began earlier in the day, with detail stills of MRCO's set up preparations and candid moments around the villa, a midday swim among them, ahead of the ceremony itself, which followed late in the afternoon on the open-air terrace. The following day, we came back for a relaxed family session on the stone terrace and in the garden, with the blue summer sea always present in the background.

For Foivos' christening, we spent two very different days with the family. The first began early, with preparation stills and candid moments by the pool, moved through the ceremony itself, and into the evening's celebration dinner by the pool. The second was quieter, a return the next morning for portraits on the terrace and in the garden, giving the family the kind of time a ceremony day never really allows.

We always look for the moments that get lost in the rush of the day. This christening, with everyone gathered to celebrate with Foivos, gave us the opportunity to observe and discreetly photograph them. This is where the work matters most, images that parents, siblings, and the wider family will return to for years after the day itself has passed.
