The boat left from Folegandros port and sailed to Katergo, dropping the group at the cove for the day. We aimed to take the first group photos before boarding and continued with candid portraits of the couple and their families on the way over.

At Katergo, atmospheric portraits were shot against the cove's dark rock backdrop, and we continued with the couple standing together on the rock islet at the centre of the bay. A cairn built from pebbles on the beach became its own foreground, framing the couple on either side of it.

Katergo's rock made for a natural set on its own, a dark, impressive stone dominating the centre of the cove. We did several split-level shots through the underwater dome that showed the couple half above and half below the surface, the clearest way to give a sense of what the cove actually looks like from the water. The pebble cairn on the beach gave a smaller, quieter frame for a couple portrait, a deliberate contrast to the scale of the rock islet and the cliffs around it.
