Our approach
A Basque dancer and a Greek who cooks for the people he loves, two people from different places who found each other in transit, at the exact moment one of them had a book and the other had a language. That story became the backbone of the day. We ask questions, we get interested, we get intrigued and what comes back shapes everything that follows.
Island Gallery is a venue we know well. The chapel, the terrace levels, the sea view at different hours. We arrived with that knowledge and used it from the start. The film running alongside this story carries the narration from that day, two accounts of the same love story told at the same time.
