Chalkida, the main city of Evia, held the ceremony for Ioannis' christening at the Church of Agios Nikolaos, on the evening of September 9, 2023. Guests gathered afterward for cocktails at an elegant setup arranged by MRCO.

The celebration continued at Mikros Ambelonas, Ktima Sideri, a vineyard estate in Mytikas just outside the city, with a reception area built around rustic details and a separate bar and dance floor set apart from the dining area.

For this christening a studio session took place beforehand, and a wishbook was designed for the occasion, for guests to sign with their wishes for Ioannis.

For Ioannis, the family chose to bring the portrait work forward rather than after, a studio session ahead of the christening itself, so the more posed images were already finished before the day began. That left the day free for candid coverage: the ceremony at Agios Nikolaos, the cocktail hour MRCO arranged outside the church, and the reception that followed at the estate.

A wishbook, designed specifically for the occasion, gave guests somewhere to leave something behind for Ioannis beyond the usual signatures, a keepsake built around the day rather than a standard guestbook.
