Ktima 48 Destination Wedding
A destination wedding at Ktima 48 on the Athens Riviera for Alice and Jason, from Thailand. Preparations at a private villa in Anavissos, ceremony and reception at Ktima 48. Photography by arChive Visual Storytellers.
The wedding
Ktima 48 sits at the 48th kilometre of the Athens-Sounio road in Anavissos, on the Athens Riviera, with views across the Saronic Gulf toward the cape. The estate's coastal position and the chapel on its grounds give it the character that makes it one of the most requested destination wedding venues near Athens.
Alice and Jason came from Thailand with family and friends from across the world. Preparations took place at a private villa in Anavissos — separate spaces for each side, the kind of day that builds slowly toward the ceremony. Alice's hair and make-up were done by her personal stylist and friend, who travelled from Phuket for the occasion. The dress was by Demetrios. Alice arrived at Ktima 48 in a white Ferrari and the ceremony followed at the estate, with the celebration and reception continuing until the early morning.
Our approach
A wedding with guests arriving from across the world requires planning that accounts for scale without losing the specific details that matter, the stylist from Phuket, the car, the two distinct preparation spaces. We were recommended to Alice and Jason by the Ktima 48 operators themselves, which meant we arrived already trusted by the venue and ready to work within it. We covered each element as its own moment rather than compressing the day into a single narrative.
Ktima 48 is a venue we know well. The chapel, the reception grounds, the light across the Saronic Gulf at different hours. That familiarity with the venue guided us through every decision we made through the day.
