Ektoras' christening took place within a private estate in Pallini, on the eastern edge of Athens, its garden and private church set within the same grounds. MRCO handled the setup, filling the garden with color for a September afternoon that carried the scent of orange blossom.

The ceremony was held in the estate's own church, with the reception following in the garden. The day doubled as Ektoras' first birthday, so the celebration carried past the christening into a party built around both milestones together.

The following day, we returned for a relaxed portrait session with Ektoras' parents and grandparents by the pool.

For Ektoras, the day carried two celebrations , a christening and a first birthday, which meant a longer arc than a christening alone usually asks for. Coverage ran from set up preparations, to the ceremony in the estate's church, through the reception in the garden, and finally the birthday celebration that followed.

With three generations gathered in one place, parents, grandparents, and Ektoras himself, the following day's portrait session by the pool became less about a single family unit and more about the wider family the christening had brought together. The album carried illustrations created specifically for the occasion, his favorite toy car among them, alongside details from the first birthday celebration.
