The wedding
Myrto and Niels got married at Ktima 48 in Athens. The next day was all about Milos.
Niels is Dutch, but Milos never felt unfamiliar to him. His connection to Greece is something most Greeks would understand. Myrto’s smile makes any place feel special. Together, they turn a day-after photo session into a relaxed day on the water instead of just another job.
We started at Sarakiniko, where white pumice rock shaped by wind and water creates a landscape unlike anywhere else in the Aegean. The light is strong and striking. Next was Kleftiko, the sea caves on the southwest coast that you can only reach by boat, with water inside that shows colours you can’t quite describe.
Two places, one boat, and the entire Milos coastline connecting them.
