Mani is one of the few places in Greece that doesn't soften for anyone. Dry stone, tower houses, Byzantine chapels, the sea crashing into rock. Ilias and Anastasia were married here, at Bassa Maina in Limeni, in a setting constructed entirely for the occasion by MRCO. What made the day was not the setting. It was the people!
The event
A pre-wedding evening at sunset on the Limeni waterfront at Teloneio . The following day: preparations, ceremony and celebration at Bassa Maina — the dining space and party floor built specifically for the wedding. The day after: a photoshoot across the landscape of Mani, moving through Limeni, Oitylo and Kardamyli. Photography and film throughout.
Our approach
Mani gives you strong light, dramatic landscape, and almost no margin for the sentimental. It suits a certain kind of wedding — one where the emotion is real and doesn't need to be manufactured. This was that wedding. The family moments were close and intense. The ceremony carried genuine weight. The day-after session across the landscape gave us something different — time, space, and a couple fully present in one of the most visually powerful environments in Greece. We followed what was there.
