Balux Privé sits on the beachfront of Asteras in Glyfada, on the Athens Riviera, where the sea is immediately present and the terrace opens directly onto it. It is one of the most exclusive event venues on the southern coast of Athens, the combination of the sea, the open sky and the setting gives an evening there its own character that enclosed venues cannot replicate.

Maria and Andreas organised their wedding reception there, planned and designed by Yard, one of Athens's most established event agencies. The evening had everything a reception of that level brings, the sea view, the cocktails, the starry sky, the live music. Antonis Remos performed a live show for the guests, who danced through the night. A surprise birthday cake was the detail that made the evening specifically theirs.

Balux Privé at night is a layered environment, the venue's own light, the sea beyond it, the stage light that takes over when the performance begins. Each requires a different eye and a different distance. We moved between all three through the evening, never staying in one register long enough to miss what was happening in another.
The small details build the story as much as the big moments, a glass catching the light, a gesture between friends, the moment before the surprise cake arrived. These are the images that bring an evening back years later. We stay alert to them throughout, even when the dance floor is full and Antonis Remos is on stage.
