BOUDOIR
PHOTOGRAPHY
02 | THE STUDIO
My name is Angela Varveri, co-founder of arChive Visual Storytellers. Our studio focuses on destination wedding photography, photographing and filming celebrations in Greece, Europe, the Maldives, the Americas, and anywhere a couple's journey leads. Our portfolio shows our philosophy and how we work.
In addition, we take on a few personal boudoir photography sessions each year. These are intimate and sensual portraits. Each one is carefully planned around one person, her presence and the light that suits her style and physique.
03 | An Intimate Portrait
On the day itself, the work blends elements of portraiture, fashion, and fine art. Light is used to shape sensuality, revealing the true character of a face and body while quieting what does not serve the image. The distinction between a phone snapshot and a thoughtful portrait lies in these choices.
04 | discretion
Discretion is part of how we work. Images are never published, shared or used as portfolio without your written consent.
05 | BOOKINGS
We undertake a small number of boudoir portrait sessions each year. If the approach feels aligned with what you have in mind, you are invited to request an appointment.
05 | Deliverables
Each portrait is delivered digitally as a curated set of edited images. Fine art prints, a studio-designed printed album, and a short film are available as optional additions, selected to complement your images and suit your specific requests.
06 | FAQ
How does the process begin?
We discuss what you have in mind, the type of images you are drawn to, and what would make the experience feel comfortable and natural for you. From there, we shape the styling, location, timing and overall direction together.
Nothing is photographed before we have clearly agreed on how the work should feel, what it should express, and the boundaries of the session.
Where does the photography take place?
Each location offers different qualities of light, atmosphere and privacy. We help you select the setting that best supports the images you want to create and the level of comfort you need throughout the session.
Can I be photographed by a woman only?
How are the images handled afterwards? Will they appear online?
The work is yours, and your privacy is fully respected. Any image shown on this website, or anywhere else, has been personally approved by the person appearing in it.
What does the retouching involve?
Our approach is to refine, not alter. Skin keeps its natural texture, and the body keeps its shape. We work only on temporary details, the things that change from day to day, while preserving the features, character and presence that make the image yours.
How is the work priced?
The starting point is the photography session itself and the edited digital images delivered afterwards. Fine art prints, a printed album, or a short film can be added according to your preferences.
Everything is discussed and agreed clearly before the day of the session, so you know exactly what is included and what to expect.
Is there a written agreement?
The agreement sets out what has been planned, what is included, the timing of the work, and the terms around privacy and image use.
Nothing is left to memory or assumption. It is a working document that protects both you and the studio equally.
How can I help the studio prepare a proposal?
Boudoir work is shaped around the individual, not around a fixed package. A photograph helps us understand how to approach styling, light, setting and retouching in a way that suits you personally.
It also allows us to prepare a proposal that reflects the actual work involved, rather than offering a generic price. Any image you send is handled with the same discretion and privacy as the final work itself.
