The Event

A post-wedding film built around an album presentation visit in Amsterdam. The couple discovering their wedding images for the first time, their reactions, the emotions of revisiting a day already becoming memory. From that afternoon in Amsterdam, the film transitions — without warning — to the wedding itself in Symi. The Aegean, the light, the celebration. Two cities, two seasons, one story that refused to stay in its assigned place.

Our Approach

A wedding should not last a day but a lifetime. We went to Amsterdam to present an album and stayed to observe what came after. The everyday life, the laughs, the way two people move through a city together. Then we let the film find its own logic. Amsterdam became the backdrop for a new twist in the plot. Symi was always waiting at the other end.

The Destination

Amsterdam in winter has a particular quality. The light on the canals, the quiet of the streets, the way the city slows down and becomes intimate. For a wedding film it offers something most destinations cannot — the texture of everyday life rather than the performance of a wedding day.
