The Event

This was the second time arChive photographed a wedding for this family. Eleni and Tom first, now Vas and Seb at Island Gallery. The venue set the tone, a classic Greek island house on the Riviera, gardens framed by eucalyptus and fragrant hedges, a chapel overlooking rocky coves with the sound of the sea below. The reception that followed was exactly what you would expect from this particular family. Seb danced zeibekiko. He earned his place.

Our Approach

Vas is a beautiful combination of shy and sensitive, yet sharp and intensely present. Seb, a genuine gentleman who rose to every occasion the day demanded. Between the two of them and the energy of the family around them, we had everything we needed. We are moment hunters. This day had no shortage of them.

The Destination

Island Gallery sits within the Island Resort Events complex on the Athens Riviera, entered through bougainvillea-framed gates that set the atmosphere before you've taken ten steps. A classic Greek island house styled with stone terraces, open kitchen and gardens planted with rosemary, lavender and aromatic flora. The garden cascades down to a chapel perched above rocky coves, where ceremonies unfold to the sound of waves below.

For a wedding film, Island Gallery offers a rare combination. Natural light, layered architecture, gardens that reward careful observation. One of the finest wedding venues on the Athens Riviera, and one that photographs and films with complete consistency regardless of season or time of day.
