Maria and Yiannis went home to Rethymno to get married, then travelled further — to Loutro, a village in Sfakia accessible only by boat. Maria's style showed in every decision: the dress, the church, the concept. Lines — drawn on the wall, on canvas, on them. Minimal, considered, and entirely their own.
The event
A wedding built around a single visual concept. Ceremony in a small whitewashed church in Loutro, reached by boat from the Sfakia coast. Every detail considered — flowers, decoration, the bride's dress — all referencing the same minimal aesthetic. Lines, was a minimalistic concept we created for them drawn by hand on the walls, on canvas, on them. Representing what unite us, the importance of connecting two point, the minimalism of the meaningful. We photographed and filmed this wedding
Our approach
A couple with a clear visual language makes our work more precise, not easier. Maria's eye for detail set a standard for everything in the frame. We followed the concept without illustrating it — the lines appeared in the images because they were already connecting place and the people. Loutro has a particular quality of light and silence. Remote and secluded. A decision by its own. It changes how you see and how you shoot.
