Melodie and Yoann married at Elea Estate, a villa set above Elia Beach with two infinity pools and a small white chapel by the water. The civil ceremony took place in front of this sea view, with the reception spread across the villa's outdoor dining and entertainment spaces overlooking the Aegean.

The venue's scale gave this wedding group room to move. Twelve bedrooms across multiple levels meant the couple's guests stayed on site for the full weekend, carrying the day from ceremony through to a reception that ran late into the night above the water.

< Melodie and Yoann had travelled from Canada for their wedding, and Mykonos was their first experience of Greece. The island gave them warm light through the ceremony and a cooling evening wind as the reception carried on, the kind of shift in weather the island is known for.

Melodie and Yoann's guests were staying through the weekend, so their wedding was one part of a longer stretch of time together, and we worked to reflect that rather than treating the ceremony as the only moment that mattered.

The civil ceremony took place on a veranda patio by the pool, with open sea in front. From there the light changed constantly, morning warmth giving way to the cooler wind that moves in as evening approaches, and we worked with that shift rather than against it, letting the reception's later hours carry a different mood than the ceremony had.

Working within a villa this size meant space was rarely a constraint. Multiple levels, indoor and outdoor areas, and the two pools gave the day several distinct settings without ever needing to leave the property, so the images build a fuller picture of the wedding than a single backdrop could.
