The Event

Nota and Dimitris got married at Ktima 48 on the Athens Riviera, on a summer day built around the kind of ordinary warmth that defines them as a couple. The film moves through the day's love, joy, laughter and dance, following the reception's energy as it built through the evening.

Our Approach

A combined wedding and christening changes the day's rhythm without changing how we work. Two ceremonies back to back meant staying alert to the handoff between them, so neither felt rushed or secondary to the other, and the reception that followed carried both celebrations into one continuous evening of dance and laughter.
The highlight cut favours energy over documentation, built to move at the pace of the party itself rather than a chronological record of the day. Music, dance and the reception's later hours carry the edit, giving the film the same warmth that defined the couple rather than a formal record of proceedings.
