The Event

Four consecutive days in Rhodes. A tour of the island ending in a beach party at Amada Colossus. A welcome party on the roof garden of Rodos Park Suites overlooking the Castle, live music and finger food from the hotel chefs. The ceremony at Filerimos, a Byzantine castle on the hilltop of ancient Ialyssos, surrounded by pine forest, medieval structures and the kind of silence that makes a ceremony feel permanent. The reception at Rodos Park Boutique Hotel. Post-wedding portraits in the medieval Old Town and at Kallithea beach, a place from Katerina's childhood. Four days that earned the description.

Our Approach

Katerina's family owns hotels on the island. This was her home, her people and her place. JB arrived and became part of it immediately. We had four days and complete access. The Old Town at night, the light at Filerimos, the energy of a family celebrating on their own ground. Sometimes the slightest things change the direction of our lives. We were there for this one.

The Destination

Rhodes sits at the crossroads of the Mediterranean, between the Aegean and the coast of the Middle East. The medieval Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. The Knights' Road, the Palace of the Grand Master, the ancient walls. Outside the walls, Filerimos on its pine-covered hilltop, Kallithea with its Art Deco springs, the long beaches of the east coast.
